Cybertruck will Launch in 2023 – Ready to Compete – Tesla is currently the largest electric car company in the world. Soon, it looks like Tesla will strengthen its position. The strategy is to launch a pickup truck as a way to maintain its position as the world’s best-selling electric vehicle maker. The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most popular body styles in the US and many other countries.
Cybertruck will Launch in 2023 – Ready to Compete
When Tesla launched the Cybertruck in 2019, everyone was surprised by its shape. All were surprised to see a vehicle with an angular exterior made of stainless steel, which is scratch and dent resistant. A design that we have never seen in the history of the automotive world.
Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the Cybertruck will be ready to roll out en masse in 2023. The announcement came during the Rodeo Party event at the opening of Tesla’s Austin, Texas Gigafactory, after much delay.
Until the time the car comes out, we don’t know if there will be a delay or not. However, the Cybertruck will come with impressive features as both an electric vehicle and a pickup truck. Even in addition to the ‘extreme’ body, this pickup truck will come with up to three electric motors.
Tesla Cybertruck Variant Options
Tesla Cybertruck is planned to come in three variants;
- The single-motorized Cybertrucks will go from zero to 60 mph (100 kph) in 6.5 seconds. This pickup will be able to have a maximum speed of 110 mph (177 kph).
- The dual-motor Cybertruck variant will reach 60 mph (100 kph) in just 4.5 seconds. This variant will have a top speed of 120 mph (193 kph).
- And finally, the three-motor Tesla Cybertruck. This type is for those who are looking for the best performance. This pickup will have the power to zero to 60 mph (100 kph) in just 2.9 seconds. While the top speed will reach 130 mph (209 kph).
Interestingly, all three Cybertruck models have air suspensions that we can adjust as needed. The arrangement itself allows the vehicle to lift the body up to 16 inches (40 cm). However, the body will be easily lowered or raised as needed.
The Cybertruck’s towing capacity is also impressive. The single-motor Cybertruck has a maximum tow rating of 7,500 pounds (3,400 kg). Meanwhile, the dual-motor Cybertruck has a maximum tow rating of 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg), and the three-motor Cybertruck has a maximum tow rating of 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg).
What about the Tesla Cybertruck battery business? Tesla didn’t reveal the battery size the Cybertruck’s driving distance varies with the number of motors. According to Tesla, the single-motor model has a range of over 250 miles, the dual-motor setup has a range of over 300 miles, and the three-motor setup should cover more than 500 miles on a single charge.
There are a few changes to the Cybertruck design
Did you remember the initial form of the Cybertruck launch a few years ago? No need to look directly at the opening event to see the design of this ‘weird’ Tesla car. But those who had the opportunity to attend the opening ceremony had the opportunity to see the Cybertrucks design with their own eyes and would recognize it better.
People who saw the electric pickup truck were not happy with its appearance. People claim that Cybertruck’s compatibility and finish look awful. Starting from even the door color is different from other trucks to the whole rear looks weird if we look closely.
The panels that make up the roof are misaligned, all bent, and bent at unusual angles. Although such a design leaves room for a large panel gap. The design provides a roof that is not parallel to the weather stripping of the window. In addition, it is not parallel to the window. But the vehicle has a 6.5-foot cargo bed.
The Cybertruck is still a futuristic design truck, despite the presence of mirrors, different tires, a modified windshield, and some minor adjustments.
Tesla Cybertruck price?
Tesla is pricing the Cybertruck with a single-wheel-drive electric motor at $39,900. Meanwhile, the dual and triple electric motor models are all-wheel-drive models priced at $49,900 and $69,900, respectively.
We’ll have to wait and see how the Cybertruck prices are in competition with the GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, GM electric Silverado, and Ford F-150 Lightning.
