This device functions to detect the vehicle’s power requirements so that the gearshift is able to follow the rhythm of the engine speed. TCM can be problematic due to the behavior of the driver. In addition, it can also be due to climatic factors and road conditions in a country.
For the Fiesta and EcoSport automatic transmissions, we cannot equate to using a CVT or conventional automatic. One of the bad habits of drivers is to keep the gear lever in the “D” position when stationary. TCM on the Fiesta and EcoSport is actually an advanced feature, but unfortunately for roads in certain countries, it is still not suitable. One way to make it durable is to understand the characteristics of the user of the transmission system. You need to remember that the dual-clutch feature on the Fiesta and EcoSport is different in character from using a regular automatic transmission or CVT type.
You must change your driving behavior. One of them is the one who likes to get used to the transmission lever in position D when the car is stationary. The damage that occurs to the transmission is that the cable to shift the selector arm on the gearbox is broken. The arm does not move when the lever is shifted. As a result, even though the lever has been passed, the gear shift does not enter.
Buzzing Appears When Driving
Unlubricated automatic transmission will make the components in it rub against each other. When such conditions occur, there will be a buzzing sound and the sound of scraping metal objects. If we let it, over time the sound will get louder.
