However, in general, the basic concept for releasing the EPB is to turn the parking brake motor in the direction of the release. We can do this by means of jumpers or manually.

1. Release VW Tiguan (Double motor) EPB System Manually

To release the EPB manual with a double motor on the Tiguan is quite easy. The first step is to jack up the right and left rear wheels. Next, remove the EPB motorcycle socket which is on the rear brake caliper.
